I’m A Celeb is almost over and Reverend Richard Coles has quickly become everyone’s favourite campmate.

The unlikely late addition to the camp is just so hilarious without even meaning to be, and nobody expected it.

Richard has had some absolutely brilliant moments over the three weeks, and here is a roundup of the best ones.

‘What’s the difference between a goth and an emu?’

One of his most hilarious moments has to be that chat with GK Barry where she was talking about how she used to be a goth. He so innocently asked “What’s the difference between a goth and an emu?” but obviously meant emo, not the ostrich-like bird. Grace brilliantly replied: “Well, one is an animal.”

That hilarious ‘scissoring’ conversation with GK Barry

Another funny interaction with GK Barry came when Richard discovered what “scissoring” is at the grand old age of 62. She chose not to explain the sexual act in detail, simply saying it’s “something lesbians do”. Richard then came out with the most random comment: “Sizzling scissoring sisterhood.”

His brilliant dancing in the Jungle Arms challenge

We have to give a special mention to Richard’s brilliant dancing in the challenge all the campmates did to gain access to the Jungle Arms. He was really whipping out the moves in that little box, and it was just so amusing to watch. Even just imagining Richard in his popstar days is hilarious.

Reverend Richard revealing his biggest fear

Quite soon after he joined the main camp, Richard was having a deep chat with his fellow campmates about their biggest fears, because what else is there to do in the jungle?! He came out with the most amusing thing that nobody expected: “Being fat on television.”

That hilarious swipe at Dean after he left camp

Finally, the list wouldn’t be complete without that scathing but hilarious swipe at Dean after he was voted off. The Radio 1 DJ had literally just left the camp moments ago and Richard savagely said in the most unintentionally funny way “Who’s going to not fetch our water now?” as he was really lazy with the chore.

What a legendary campmate!
