Bournemouth University offers courses in Vietnam for 2025
Bournemouth University’s first transnational agreement secures two courses in Vietnam for September 2025
Bournemouth University (BU) is set to offer courses in Vietnam as part of a new partnership with the British University of Vietnam (BUV), starting in September 2025.
The opportunity is for students studying Tourism Management or Events Management. Both courses will be delivered at BUV’s campus just outside the city of Ha Noi.
Vice-chancellor, Professor Alison Honour has said: “We are a university with a vibrant international community of students and staff, and I am delighted that we are partnering with BUV and expanding our global presence.”
Head of International Partnerships at Bournemouth University, Dr Alastair Morrison, comments further: “We have established links in Vietnam for a number of years, and we are pleased to partner with BUV in offering two programmes, working together to develop talent in Vietnam.”
This is the first transnational agreement for Bournemouth University, with up to 40 spaces for students on each course. Graduates from both courses are set to receive a BU degree upon completion.
BUV was first established in 2009 and is the first and only international university in Vietnam to deliver a UK University education.
Vice-chancellor and President of BUV, Professor Raymond Gordon commented: “At BUV, we are committed to delivering world class education and equipping our students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the global workforce. Our new relationship with Bournemouth University represents a pivotal advancement in our ongoing mission to bring the highest calibre of UK education to Vietnam.”
The plan is for this partnership agreement to be the first of many, with Bournemouth University providing future courses across South East Asia.
