University of Warwick drops two spaces to rank 69th in new global university ranking
Warwick University scores 69th globally but 10th in the UK
The University of Warwick has ranked 69th in the world and 10th in the UK, according to a new global university ranking.
The QS World Ranking 2025 sees Warwick university slipping two places from last year, falling from 67th to 69th globally.
However, the university still remains in the top 10 of all UK universitites, staying on from 10th place since last year.
This prestigious ranking system takes into account nine factors, including employer reputation, academic reputation, academic research, faculty to student ratios, and sustainability.
Overall, Warwick received an overall score of 68.2 out of 100.
The university scored highly in areas including employer reputation (86.4), international faculty ratio (98.1), international research network (94.2), international students ratio (99.10), and sustainability (89.1).
However, Warwick’s faculty to student ratio received the lowest score at 35.5 out of 100.
This marks the fourth year in a row where the University of Warwick has declined in its global rank.
In 2o22, Warwick ranked 61st before slipping into 64th (2023), 67th (2024) and now 69th place.
