Ranking all the new Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Battle Pass skins from worst to best

Look, I’ve been off the Fortnite wagon for a few weeks. This is my longest drought since 2017. I lowkey got bored, but then my console broke and I’ve only just got it fixed but the controller broke too so now I’m, toe tapping and waiting on a new one to arrive with no way of playing this season yet. What I have been able to do is stare longingly at the pretty great first look at the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Battle Pass – so here’s my ranked rundown of all the new skins based on first impressions!

8. Poseidon

Pack it in. Of all the fun skin ideas they could have gone with for Poseidon, they chose to make it a meme skin with Ripley vibes from Chapter 2 Season 1. Just think this is really boring and lazy, and a waste of a skin. Should have been a big merman or something. Hate it – and I love Poseidon in mythology.

7. Zeus

Zeus is literally the king of all the gods – so why does he feel so mid? They’ve gone for a bro, modernised vibe that just cheapens how epic and powerful he should feel. Boring.

6. Korra

This season’s extra skin to unlock is Korra from Avatar: The Last Airbender. She looks fine. I don’t watch this show or anything but I’m sure people that do are happy – albeit probably a bit confused why it isn’t Aang. I wish they kept the bonus skins to characters that suited the theme of the season.

5. Hades

The Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 max tier skin is getting ranked here, kicking off the top five. He looks cool and formidable but that mask kinda kills the vibe. Wish he had a menacing face we could look upon. The Hercules Hades sleeps soundly at night knowing he’s still the coolest depiction.

4. Aphrodite

Of all the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 skins ranked here, it’s Aphrodite who was hyped the most and seen in all the skin surveys. She lives up to the hype. She looks amazing in her more human, chilled form pictured above and her full pink, almost galactic style. Mother.

3. Artemis

The Goddess of the hunt is in Fortnite with the best hair I’ve seen on a female skin in ages. Gagged. She’s lowkey in drag. Queen.

2. Cerberus

Whilst not the kind of skin I would ever use personally, just look at him. What a beast. The designers went all out here and he looks great in every style – truly menacing and powerful. I’m shocked he isn’t the tier 100 skin, to be honest.

1. Medusa

Medusa is my favourite character in Greek mythology, so I’m overjoyed she’s both in the Battle Pass and easily the best of all the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 skins ranked here. Absolutely love her and all her styles – I love that they’ve interpreted her in a way that feels almost supervillain-esque. Will be running her all season.
