Made in Chelsea MAFS

Ella May Ding from MAFS claims Miles ‘manipulated’ her into appearing on Made in Chelsea

She described the experience as ‘harder than MAFS’

Just in time for the start of the new series, Ella May Ding from MAFS has described her experience appearing in Made in Chelsea. Ella appeared on the show last year as yet another one of Miles’ love interests.

The two split in October of last year, but Ella has now claimed in an interview with The Daily Mail that Miles ‘manipulated’ her into appearing on Made in Chelsea. She described how the two “met organically” and “spoke for a very long time.” But, “Miles kind of manipulated me in ways and persuaded me to come on the show.

“I said to him, I didn’t want to go on the show, I didn’t need the show, I just want to meet you. And he was like, it’s just reality. It’s fine.”

Ella from the Australian season of MAFS described how she didn’t know how heavily scripted Made in Chelsea was. “It was just not reality. It’s like a set — action, cut, lines — I would say something, and they would make me say it again, they would have someone who remembered my lines. It’s like a movie,” she said.

Ella explained that after filming Made in Chelsea she made a promise to herself that she’d never do a reality show again to find love. “Made in Chelsea cut pretty deep. It was actually harder than MAFS, and it was only three weeks. It was the hardest experience I have ever had.”

The Tab has reached out to Miles for comment.
