A very serious investigation into how posh Ciara Murphy from Love Is Blind UK actually is

Ciara Murphy from Love Is Blind UK kept banging on about how she likes “nice things”, and made sure to ask her potential husbands about money. Jack called her “boujie”, as a compliment. We’ve mostly seen her in a pod, not in her natural habitat. So, how posh actually is Ciara from Love Is Blind? Here is a deeply serious, very sincere investigation based on surface-level judgements about Ciara’s life beyond Love Is Blind.

Exhibit A: She does have a posh girl job

Ciara is a reformer and mat pilates instructor. She teaches classes at various studios across the yummy mummy hotspots of London, such as Barnes, Colliers Wood and Fulham.

Exhibit B: Ciara is a South West London girlie

She’s been in London for at least seven years. Now, on Love is Blind, Ciara said she lives in Southfields, and she qualifies for residents’ tickets to Wimbledon. Based on this, we can guesstimate she lives in an area where the average price of a flat is £454,082 (according to Rightmove). That’s obviously ridiculous. But, believe it or not, that’s actually lower than the average for South West London overall, of £518,705.

Exhibit C: Ciara does love a holiday

Over the last two years, Ciara has jetted off to Marrakech in Morocco, the Primavera Sound Barcelona festival in Spain, Kefalonia in Greece and Sicily in Italy.

We all saw Ciara bang on about liking “nice things” and the “princess treatment” on Love is Blind. I would argue that is actually not posh behaviour, because overly posh British people are likelier to have inherited the nice things from their great-grandparents than to demand men on reality TV shows buy the nice things.

Her bio on the Netflix site says “Ciara has a taste for luxury, which manifests in extravagant brunches, dinner parties, and at least three dates a week with eligible bachelors whom she expects to pull out all the stops”.

Ciara definitely seems to like bars in Battersea, coffee shops in Clapham, and champagne. Or at least, she likes posting pictures of those things on her Instagram.

Conclusion

Based on extremely superficial and fairly meaningless judgements about this stranger off the telly, Ciara appears to qualify as London boujie, as opposed to hardcore old-school jolly hockey sticks posh. Like, does she even own a horse?!
