Celebs keep getting married in London town halls, so here’s a vibes-based wedding ranking

Woah, apparently it’s now super glamorous and fashionable to get married in a fairly average town hall. So many celebrities have had a wedding in a London town hall over the last year. Well, I guess it’s kinda chic to have a normie wedding if you’re famous?! Here are the latest celeb London town hall weddings, ranked by vibes.

4. Dua Lipa and Callum Turner – 6/10

On 31st May 2026, Dua Lipa was *not* on holiday! (Shocking, I know). She and Callum Turner has their legal, UK-based wedding at The Old Marylebone Town Hall, ahead of their big fancy wedding a week later in Sicily.

That massive hat is definitely a vibe, but I don’t like it, so I’ve deducted Dua Lipa some points. I get that the hat has a vintage 1970s feel, but how would you get out the car without bashing the door?

3. Francesca Allen and Ed Crossan – 7/10

The couple were legit glowing at golden hour as they set off in a vintage through this boujie bit of London. I cannot support the giant white hat with an attached veil, though. If my hair was as shiny as hers, I’d want it on full display.

Yup, another famous Love Islander got married at the same town hall within a matter of days. Ruby’s dress is somewhat weird, and I mean that as a compliment. They both look so happy when she swishes about in it that I feel happy from just watching the videos.

Surely, the pinnacle of London-maxing is Charli XCX and that nice 1975 drummer getting married in Hackney Town Hall, then celebrating with a cheeky cig and some wine from an Italian restaurant, in the street, in front of a stack of Lime bikes. Perfection.

Our Von Dutchess held her (legal) wedding ceremony at Hackney Town Hall on 19th July 2025. About 20 guests were invited. They walked down the high street to an Italian place called Dalla, then headed to a bar in Dalston called Ellie’s, that’s notable for its £8 martinis. 

Their main, more extravagant wedding was in Sicily in September 2025. But really, it looked kind of bland compared to the Hackney wedding.
