The last 24 hours have been a LOT for football fans after the announcement of the formation of a European Super League. There’s been anger, despair and debate over this new league. But for those of us who have no clue what is going on there’s a bunch of Super League memes for us to enjoy.
Despite reading a bunch of news articles explaining what the Super League means for football a lot of us still aren’t really sure what’s going on. When your football knowledge extends to the 2018 World Cup and Gareth Southgate’s waistcoats, the politics and money involved with this new league really doesn’t make sense.
But apparently it’s a big deal that six massive teams have joined the new European Super League, so much so that even Boris Johnson has spoken out to condemn the move.
