Only three Love Island girlies have ever been in Vogue, showing they’ve officially made it
They’re the most iconic
Love Island might be all about bikinis, fake tan, and making a fool of yourself on national TV for eight weeks straight, but for a lucky few girls, the glow-up has gone beyond sponsored Boohoo deals and into Vogue.
Believe it or not, three villa girlies have broken free from reality TV chaos and planted themselves firmly in the glossy pages (and covers!) of Vogue, the magazine that usually only tolerates Hadids, Jenners, and women who spend their summers on yachts in Capri.
Somehow, these three Love Island icons snuck in, and honestly, they deserve it.
1. Maura Higgins
@maurahiggins And just like that…..I’m back @Love Island USA 🏝️
You definitely already know the first one. Her fiery one-liners (fanny flutters, anyone?) became instantly iconic, and British Vogue wasted no time snapping her up.
The OG drama queen of the Love Island villa, Maura Higgins has always had a flair for fashion. She’s landed multiple features, from being crowned the “most divisive woman on TV” (we love a polarising queen) to getting a whole article comparing her villa quotes to Samantha Jones from Sex and the City. Vogue even brought her into a video series where she and fellow Islanders dished out relationship advice.
Maura’s ability to blend bold outfits with her larger-than-life personality has made her a perfect fit for the fashion world, proving she’s not just a villa sensation, but an icon in her own right.
2. Molly-Mae Hague
@britishvogue “I can pretend to be all, like, cool and put-together with this bag,” says #MollyMae in the latest episode of In The Bag. “But this actually is what really sums me up.”
Molly-Mae is arguably the most well-known face to come out of Love Island. She didn’t just do reality TV, she basically speed-ran the entire influencer pipeline afterwards.

From becoming PrettyLittleThing creative director to being one of the most followed Islanders ever, she turned her time in the villa into a full-on empire, and Vogue noticed. She’s popped up in British Vogue interviews chatting everything from being “controversial” to her breakup with Tommy Fury, and starred in their “In The Bag” video series, where she pulled Bottega Veneta goodies out of her designer tote.
Whether or not you’re a Molly-Mae Stan, it’s undeniable that she has cemented herself as the ultimate Love Island girlboss.
3. Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu
@ekinsuofficial Catch me on Good morning britian 8:10 #fyp #freakyfriday
Ah, Ekin-Su. Winner of the 2022 series, drama magnet, and reality TV icon. If you thought her career peaked with crawling along the Love Island terrace floor in lingerie, think again.
She’s the most recent addition to the Love Island-to-Vogue club, appearing on the cover of Vogue Latin America this month. The shoot was a collaboration with Tiffany & Co and Turkish bridal brand G Bride, and had Ekin dripping in diamonds and couture.
Some people clocked that the cover was part of a paid partnership rather than a traditional editorial cover, which sparked backlash over whether it “counted”.
But regardless, Ekin-Su has the Vogue logo stamped next to her face forever.

These three girls prove that while most of us are busy bingeing reality TV on the sofa, a select few are busy making headlines in the fashion world.
From British Vogue features to international magazine covers, Maura, Molly-Mae, and Ekin-Su show that Love Island glamour can translate to high-fashion credibility, proving that sometimes, being unhinged on national TV does pay off.
