Millie responds to shocking Liam split on her secret second Instagram account

She said life ‘is not good’ right now

Everyone was shocked when a source revealed that Millie and Liam have split for the second time, and the Love Islander herself has now responded with a post on her secret second Instagram account.

An insider told the Mail Online Liam and Millie “tried to make it work” but it “just wasn’t meant to be”. They said Liam was the one who broke things off, because he just “wasn’t feeling it towards the end” and “Millie is gutted but is being a trouper and getting on with life”.

Neither of them has shared a statement on their Instagram Story yet, but Millie posted an indirect quote on her second Instagram profile, which is for her jewellery account Saith, that’s very obviously about the breakup.

She’s never shared any quotes on the Saith account before, and it was posted hours after news of the split broke. It speaks about life being hard right now, but better days are coming.

“A reminder that every situation in life is temporary. So when life is good, make sure you and receive it fully. When life is not good, remember that it will not last forever and better days are on the way,” the post says in red text.

In the comments, everyone is sending their love to Millie after the breakup, with one person writing “Hope you’re ok” and another adding: “100% darling, there’s always something else around the corner.”

Another source revealed more details about the split to The Sun, saying: “Millie and Liam have tried so hard to make their relationship work. But unfortunately, the distance was just difficult and they have sadly ended their relationship for a second time.

“Obviously, they’ve worked things out before, so friends are hoping this might just be a blip as it’s all still very fresh. But right now they are spending time apart. Everyone who loves them hopes they can work it out.”

Liam and Millie split for the first time in 2022 after winning Love Island the year before. They then got back together in 2023, but have broken up again two years later.
