Harrison reveals where he stands with Toni after quitting Love Island, and it’s messy

It sounds like he’s not over her yet

Harrison has reunited with Lauren after dramatically walking out of Love Island to be with her, but it sounds like he isn’t quite over Toni yet.

Talking about where he stands with the Love Islander on Aftersun last night, he said: “I definitely think that chapter’s closed now.” However, he admitted the feelings are still there. Awkward!

“The feelings obviously don’t disappear but I feel like we had the two days [and] I knew it wasn’t right for me. I knew Lauren was the girl for me. So, I feel like that two days gave me clarity on where my head was at.”

“I’ve decided on my decision and I’m so happy with it,” he concluded. Hmm, it definitely sounds like there’s some unfinished business between them, but it will have to wait until she’s left the villa.

As soon as she was dumped, Lauren practically begged Harrison to leave with her, but he refused to go straight away.

Maya Jama asked why the 22-year-old footballer waited a whole 24 hours before leaving the villa, and he revealed that he wanted to make sure he was making the right decision.

“I think obviously as soon as Lauren did leave, I mouthed to the girls ‘I’m going I’m going I’m going’,” Harrison said.

“Obviously, I made a lot of important decisions in there and I didn’t want to make an emotional decision. It’s a big thing leaving the Love Island villa. I just thought I wanted to sleep on it and see how I felt the next day.”

“I woke up the next day, honestly the same way and I could have made the decision in the morning but I gave it until the rest of the day to see how I was feeling and it was exactly the same. I feel I made my mind up in the morning.”
