This week, the MAFS Australia brides and grooms have been taking part in final test week. And one couple who were most definitely going to take up the opportunity was Jacqui and Ryan. Jacqui went on a date with her back up MAFS groom Rory, whilst Ryan headed out with Vivienne.

On her date, Jacqui swooned over how perfect Rory was for her compared to Ryan. Shock! They seemed to get on well, and Jacqui ended the meet up as though things could progress with Rory. She was very flirty! But, it would seem that wasn’t quite the case. Well, at least not for Rory.

At the end of their date, Jacqui asked Rory to give her his number. “If you want to give me your number, I can text you,” she said. “I’ll be out of this experiment in probably 10 days.” She later told producers they did exchange numbers.

However, Rory had a different story to tell. He told MAFS Uncensored he straight up refused to give Jacqui his number after their date. Ouch!

“We didn’t swap numbers! I said no, I don’t feel comfortable giving my number to a married woman,” Rory said. He claimed *she* gave *him* her number at the restaurant they went on their date at, but he brutally binned it straight away.

To avoid any further embarrassment, Jacqui admitted she lied about what happened. She said on Instagram: “No, Rory and I didn’t exchange numbers. I gave him my number in case he had any questions about filming stuff or had any issues in Sydney, we didn’t even text, I do not have his number, I’ve never spoken to this man ever since and honestly, frankly, I didn’t care to.”

Sure Jacqui, sure.
