Love Island’s Curtis has addressed whether he would be open to dating a man
He opened up about his sexuality
Curtis is back looking for love on Love Island All Stars again for the second time after splitting up with Ekin-Su, but he’s previously revealed that he is open to the idea of dating a man.
When asked about his sexual identity in 2019, after his first stint on the reality TV show, he told The Sun he doesn’t like to put a “label” on his sexuality.
“I’ve been with women and I’m with a woman now. You can never put a label on anything,” he said. “It’s a cliche to say, but love is blind. I can never ever say what will happen in the future. I wouldn’t rule anything out.”
Maura Higgins, who he dated for eight months after the villa, was surprisingly pushy when they were together and it seems like she put a lot of pressure on him to talk about his sexuality.
In a 2020 interview with The Sun after they split, she revealed that she always wished he would give her an honest answer.

“I just feel like, be honest. He never says he’s straight, he never says he’s gay. I just feel like, whatever it is just be honest and say it,” she said.
The ex-Islander added that when she asked him about his sexual identity, he always “said he was straight” but “didn’t say that in public”.
“I find that quite strange. Just be honest. Say what you said to me, you know?” Maura claimed.
Curtis has only ever publicly dated women, including Maura, dancer Amber Pierson, theatre actress Sophie Sheridan and most recently, Ekin-Su.
He almost added Millie to that list on All Stars this week, but she decided to call things off after they kissed a few times, as she felt like things were moving too fast.
