Inside Tasha and Andrew’s boujie house renovation that’s in chaos after their shock split

In the biggest shock of the year so far, Love Island’s Tasha and Andrew have split up – but what about their house?!

The pair bought their first property together in February last year and were in the middle of doing a boujie renovation, but that seems to be at a standstill after their breakup.

A source told The Sun: “Tasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly. She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time went by.”

“Now she’s going off on tour she’s going to be away from Andrew again. They talked about ending their relationship at the start of January and she’s pretty much heading out on the Strictly tour as a single woman.”

Tasha and Andrew started an Instagram page to document the journey, sharing photos of the house and plans for the renovation.

“We’re so excited that we’ll be doing a full house renovation and making magic!” they said. “It’s going to be a wild ride but there’s no-one else we’d both rather do it with! We already have exciting plans for this house.. let’s get our renovation boots on and work some magic.”

“The kitchen, so if the plans get approved to have our kitchen in the outer building with a link then this kitchen will be going completely ripped out and changing into a downstairs toilet,” the pair said.

They were planning on extending a whole wall out to make the living room bigger, but loved the original fireplace.

Tasha and Andrew wanted to create a “light and airy” bathroom with a “real spa feel to it” and were planning on adding another en-suite and a downstairs loo.

The bedroom was set to be extended too, and they were planning on using the extra space for a super luxury dressing room.

Work had just started getting underway in November, and they were all set to turn it into their dream family home.

The living room was painted in December, but that was the final update we had before the shock split.

A source told The Sun Tasha decided to move out of the home while she was on Strictly because she felt like they “needed space and a clean break”.

“They hit a rocky patch after long hours training for Strictly last year, and this was the final straw.”
