Candace Owens has spoken out in Justin’s defence
In the wake of plans for another bombshell lawsuit between co stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, it’s hard to keep up with everything that’s going on. With Justin to allegedly file a countersuit any day now, it’s difficult to know when the drama will die down.
And of course, with anything that unfolds in the public eye, everyone has something to say about it. With a number of Blake’s friends and family publicly speaking out in support of her following her lawsuit filed on December 20th, Justin’s lawyer claims that his countersuit will “shock everyone”.
So, here all all the celebs who have spoken on the legal battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively.
Candace Owens
Political Influencer, Candace Owens, spoke out in Justin’s defence after he was recently stripped of the Vital Voices Award, which he received earlier this year.
Quoting a post by Pop Crave on December 24th, Candace voiced her opinion that Justin should be allowed his day in court before he is stripped of awards or other titles. In a Tweet, the quote read: “Hear me out… What if rather than believing women or men we waited for more facts and allowed Justin Baldoni to have his day in court before stripping him of awards?”

Candace is one of the only celebs to support Justin Baldoni over Blake Lively, with much of the dialogue online being in support of the actress.
Colleen Hoover
Posting a statement to both her Instagram Story and grid, author of the It Ends With Us novel, Colleen Hoover, declared her support for Blake.

In a post shared to her Instagram Story, the It Ends With Us author shared a photo of herself and Blake hugging after a screening of the movie. Captioning the photo, Colleen wrote: “@blakelively, you have been nothing but honest, kind, supportive and patient since the day we met.
“Thank you for being exactly the human that you are. Never change. Never wilt.”
She also reposted a statement written by Blake’s friends Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera and Alexis Bledel, where Colleen praised the women for speaking up. She captioned the post: “This statement from these women and Blake’s ability to refuse to sit down and ‘be buried’ has been nothing short of inspiring.”

America, Amber and Alexis, who starred alongside Blake in the 2005 film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, shared a joint statement of support on Instagram.
In the statement, they said: “As Blake’s friends and sisters for over 20 years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign waged to destroy her reputation.
“Throughout the filming of It Ends with Us, we saw her summon the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and colleagues on set and we are appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort that ensued to discredit her voice.”
Brandon Sklenar
Playing Blake’s love interest in It Ends With Us, Brandon posted a photo of the lawsuit on Instagram, captioning it “FOR THE LOVE OF GOD READ THIS”. Adding a red heart, he also tagged Blake in the post.
This comes after Brandon issued a statement in support of Blake back in August, after she received backlash for her promotion of the movie.
Sony Pictures
Sony Pictures released a statement in support of Blake. It said: “We have previously expressed our support for Blake in connection with her work on and for the film. We fully and firmly reiterate that support today. Further, we strongly condemn any reputational attacks on her. Any such attacks have no place in our business or in a civil society.”
Amber Heard
Aquaman star Amber heard also commented on Blake’s allegations against Justin after it was revealed he hired the same PR crisis manager that her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, used during their public defamation trial back in 2022.
In a statement to NBC News, she said: “Social media is the absolute personification of the classic saying ‘a lie travels halfway around the world before truth can get its boots on’. I saw this firsthand and up close. It’s as horrifying as it is destructive.”
Amy Schumer
Despite claims that she and Blake are “not close friends”, Comedian Amy Schumer posted a Story on Instagram, simply writing: “I believe Blake.”
Amy had previously mocked her on her Inside Amy Schumer sketch show, but was one of the celebs to speak her opinion on the Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively lawsuit.
Robyn Lively
Being incredibly close with her sister, Robyn expressed her relief online about Blake’s lawsuit. She wrote on an Instagram Story: “FINALLY justice for my sister @BlakeLively” whilst also highlighting certain phrases from the New York Times article.
Robyn urged her followers to read the article in another post, where she linked back to it and wrote “Blake Lively”, drawing a heart around it.
Gwyneth Paltrow
In a more subtle show of support, Gwyneth promoted Blake’s haircare line on her Story, sharing a screenshot and link to the website.
Alongside a queen emoji, she wrote: ““just added to my Christmas wish list.”
Jenny Slate
Starring alongside Blake and Justin in It Ends With Us, Jenny released a statement to Today, backing up the Gossip Girl alumn. She said: “As Blake Lively’s cast mate and friend, I voice my support as she takes action against those reported to have planned and carried out an attack on her reputation.
“Blake is a leader, loyal friend and a trusted source of emotional support for me and so many who know and love her.”
She added: “What has been revealed about the attack on Blake is terribly dark, disturbing and wholly threatening. I commend my friend, I admire her bravery and I stand by her side.”
Shawn Levy
After working with Blake on Deadpool and Wolverine as the production’s director, Shawn posted a Story to Instagram where he screenshot the New York Times article, adding that he is “proud to call Blake Lively a friend”.
Paul Feig

Quoting the New York Times, director of A Simple Favour, Paul Feig, praised Blake and described the ordeal as “awful”. He wrote: “I’ve now made two movies with Blake and all I can say is she’s one of the most professional, creative, collaborative, talented and kind people I’ve ever worked with. She truly did not deserve any of this smear campaign against her. I think it’s awful she was put through this”.
Michele Morrone
Michele, an actor who worked with Blake on the upcoming vilm A Simple Favour 2, voiced his opinion in an Instagram Story. Describing how he was “tired” of seeing these “cruel and bad comments about her”, he criticised how people did not know the situation.
He said: “So it’s usually not my thing to make these types of videos, but I think it’s time to stand up for a person that I really love and this person is Blake Lively.
“I personally met Blake during A Simple Favour 2. We shot this incredible film together and I felt something was wrong and I felt the pain and then we had the opportunity to talk about [it], me and her. Blake was in pain.”
Michele added: “I’m really tired to see those kind of cruel and bad comments about her without knowing the situation.”
He was another one of many celebs linked to the Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively lawsuit story by The New York Times.
At the end of the video the actor said: “Blake, I love you so much. Keep it up, and we’re going to see each other very, very soon.”
Bart Johnson
Blake’s brother in law and former High School Musical actor, Bart, voiced his stance on X, where he didn’t hold back in his opinion of Justin Baldoni.
In a Tweet posted on December 23rd, he said: “He’s a fraud. He puts on the ‘costume’ of a hero, man bun and all. Used all of the trendy catchphrases and buzz words for his podcasts.
