Revealed: The Russell Group unis where students take the most ket

Are Bristol students okay?!

| UPDATED

Ketamine has quickly become one of the most popular drugs among students. According to The Tab’s survey, 19 per cent of UK uni students have tried it at least once, and 22 per cent use it regularly. It can make you less sensitive to pain, and it’s generally cheaper than coke or MDMA. It turns out that students at brainy Russell Group unis are using plenty of ket, too.

The Tab surveyed nearly 6,000 UK uni students about their drug and vaping habits. So, we can reveal the Russell Group unis where students do the most ket.

Students get through the least ket at Warwick. This makes sense, since Warwick is kind of objectively the blandest Russell Group uni. The eternal rivals – Glasgow and Edinburgh Uni – get through the exact same amount of ket, which is kind of impressive?

The students at the Uni of Manchester consume more ket than all the other Russell Group unis. This is a surprise to absolutely nobody. Manchester is objectively the best uni for partying, and the students there also smoked the most weed. More students applied there last year than to any other Russell Group uni.

The data from The Tab’s survery was analysed by Constance Vielma. Each uni was assigned a “ket score” which took into account how much ket the students said they used, how often they did it, and how many students there are at that uni.

Without further ado, here are the Russell Group unis ranked by their “ket scores”.

18. University of Warwick – 0.48

17. University of York – 0.52
