Here’s where university students in Sheffield normally study depending on their star sign
Obviously Aries have never stepped foot in a library before
The library within a university is easily compared to that of an animal kingdom, especially when you’re in Sheffield. It comes with marking your territory, building allies around you, and deciding who your enemy is (usually yourself as you’ve walked out with less work done than when you walked in).
However, unlike an animal kingdom, the only danger you will find is the deadline you face sitting in front of you. The time ticks faster in that place – I’m sure the clocks need checking or something.
Maybe if you understood yourself the way the stars know you, you may just find that perfect spot that really gets the gears in your head grinding.
So, here’s what spot you should choose to study in, according to your star sign.
Taurus – The reserved room in the corner with the blinds down
Taurus, you’re the people all of us need. You’ve reserved the warmest, soundproof room in the building for the whole day – I know I can find you in the farthest room to the left in the Hallam library.
Your reliable and stable nature ensures that by simply being in your company means that the whole room will get their tasks done, and your commitment to work promises there will be no distractions throughout the day, except for lunch.
Gemini – Wherever the biggest crowd is
Geminis, however, are the people you dread to find in the centre of the library surrounded by people who claim to be in the middle of “social study”. On the one hand, your fun, social nature is one of your most attractive attributes, however on the other, you are the distraction a Taurus closes the doors to.

Nevertheless, you have an adaptive, analytical brain, which ensures that whilst you’re having fun, you’re also getting that assignment completed with no stress- well except for the table next to you that wishes you would just be quiet.
Cancer – Sitting next to a Gemini
A Cancer is who you will find next to a Gemini, laughing along with them, yet encouraging them at the same moment. Your compassion clings to the need to ensure everyone’s success as well as your own. And you can only take pride in knowing you’ve completed your assignment, once your friends have completed theirs too. Therefore, social study is the perfect place for a Cancer.
Leo – The cozy, corner spot
The confident and responsible characteristics of a Leo can sometimes be perceived as arrogance; however, these very characteristics are what lead them to success.
You usually have your regular spot, the one which covers you from anybody seeing or noticing you, in the corner and take on independent studying, to take command of your day at the library.
Virgo – The café in the library, if anything
A Virgo has never stepped foot in a library before. In fact, you’re probably found in the Starbucks on Eccy Road with a pumpkin spice in your hand (extra hot).
Your high standards ensure that your work is completed, checked and improved well before the deadline date. The control freak within you would 100 per cent not flourish in a social study environment, it is your way or the highway. And the highway may lead you to be too hard on yourself, but it has certainly never got you below a distinction before.
Libra – Find your Taurus in the corner reserved room
A Libra has joined a Taurus in the reserved space, as you guys thrive in a supported environment. You need your people there to help you make the decisions you can’t make yourself, but the perfectionist within you means you’re spending all day, every day in that room. If something is not right, you’ll start over every time.
A tip for this year – don’t leave it until a minute before your deadline!
Scorpio – The quiet corner on the top floor
A Scorpio is driven, ambitious and strives for better every time. Being set in your ways means that the quiet area is the only place you will be seen in the library. Mainly because is it the only place where nothing gets in between yourself, and the work right in front of you.
Sagittarius – The library is open 24 hours a day, don’t worry
If you’re a Sagittarius, then I would get asking for an extension from your tutor right about now (good luck). You often see the library during the overnight hours, as you’re putting in the work to get an assignment submitted minutes before the deadline within the hour.
You’re reckless, bold, and live every day as though it’s your last, which may be soon if you spend another night living off energy drinks to get you to the next morning.
Pisces – Helping out a Sag somewhere
Now a Pisces is ruled by their compassionate and empathetic nature, meaning you’ll be sat next to a Sagittarius all night long, ensuring they’re working hard.
Capricorn – Wherever social study is taking place
A Capricorn is ruled by the planet Saturn, meaning they are a “taskmaster”, which also means that their work is polished and submitted well ahead of schedule.
If they’re seen in the library, I promise you it’s just because they want to socialise, and they don’t have any work to do. Being a practical, workaholic sometimes has its perks.
Aquarius – Bottom floor corner spot
An Aquarius loves to create a world of their own in the library, a comfortable corner spot, with their headphones on full as they blast a full day’s worth of work out. Your independent and creative nature may be considered unconventional, but you know exactly how to get work done to the best of your ability.
Aries – Directions to the library can be found on Blackboard
An Aries is the classmate most people envy as they thrive in workplace environments. In fact, most of your work is done before you leave by the end of the day, so extra hours in the library are never needed.
You are optimistic and innovative, therefore getting assignments done comes naturally to you, so please come to the library this year to help the rest of us.
