This is where you recognise the cast of Chloe from
I honestly can’t keep up with this thriller
BBC’s new Insta-stalker thriller Chloe started this week (6th February) – and it’s easy to see why people are already hooked.
The six-part series tells the story of Becky (or is it Helena? Or Sasha?), a temp living in a Bristol tower block. She’s inexplicably obsessed with a girl she follows on Instagram – Chloe Fairbourne – and begins to infiltrate her group of friends, slowly taking her place.
It’s full of twists and turns, and nothing is what it seems. The cast is stellar and pretty star-studded, but just where exactly do we recognise them from?
Erin Doherty – Becky/Helena/Sasha
Erin’s enigmatic character adopts multiple personalities during the course of the series – we first meet her as West Country temp Becky Green, who lives in a tiny flat with her terminally-ill mum. Before long, she starts to mix with the middle class under the alias “Helena,” and finally making her way into Chloe’s friendship group as the unstoppable “Sasha.”
This star gives us an absolute masterclass in acting – and her CV’s impressive as well. Erin might be best known for playing Princess Anne in seasons three and four of The Crown. But she’s also starred in episodes of Call The Midwife and the BBC version of Les Mis.
Billy Howle – Elliot
Elliot seems a bit too innocent for my liking – he’s really playing up to the “quiet grieving husband” thing. Billy Howle plays him brilliantly – and he’s been in loads of other iconic shows.
His breakthrough role was in E4’s Glue, which aired all the way back in 2014. He also played an officer in Dunkirk, and Rey’s father in Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker.
Pippa Bennet-Warner – Livia
Livia is, without a doubt, one of the most trusting characters on TV. I get it’s hard to make friends as an adult – but she’d only met “Sasha” twice before asking her to dinner, matchmaking her with other mates and *literally employing her*.
Pippa Bennett-Warner started her career on stage as Nala in The Lion King, before moving on to TV and film. She’s appeared in Sick Note, Silent Witness and Harlots as well as Johnny English Strikes Again and Patient Zero.
Jack Farthing – Richard
Richard’s little dinner party speech towards the end of episode one gave me the absolute ick – less of him please!!
Jack Farthing is known for playing villains. He’s most well-known for his role as George Warleggan in Poldark, as well as Prince Charles in Spencer.
Brandon Micheal Hall – Josh
Josh was the first person to see through “Sasha” – but he’s just so likeable.
Brandon Micheal Hall has previously starred in films like The Surrogate, as well as US TV shows like Broad City, Search Party and God Friended Me.
Poppy Gilbert – Chloe
It’s infuriating how little we know about Chloe. Is she just an influencer? Did her and Becky have a history? Did they kiss? We still don’t know. But when she randomly died, we found ourselves just as confused as everyone else.
Poppy Gilbert is best-known for her role as Barbie in Stay Close. She also recently starred in an episode of Call The Midwife, as well as BBC’s The Pale Horse.
