The new season of Vanderpump Rules is upon us, and ultimately SUR is the beating hard of the whole operation, so let’s find out how much money the restaurant actually makes per year
Well, given that Lisa Vanderpump herself is worth around $140 million, and the fact that SUR opened in 1998, with Lisa and Ken becoming co-owners in 2005, it has to be doing fairly well.

According to data from Manta, a web directory of small businesses, SUR makes around $1 to 2.5 million per year, and currently employees around 20 to 49 staff, some of which are on the new series of Vanderpump Rules.
Manta also reports that the SUR lounge by itself makes around $500k per year whilst employing around one to four staff member to run it.

According to Forbes, a successful restaurant needs to be making at least $1 million per year, so it looks like Lisa Vanderpump has nailed the formula.
Forbes stated that for a “full-service restaurant to be a profitable enterprise, it needs to pull in $1 million a year.
“At $2 million, you’re cooking with gas, while half a million is considered a subsistence level, when you count up all the food and labor costs involved.”
