Out of the entire Mormon Wives cast, only one couple has actually done a religious mission
There's a strong encouragement for Mormon men to do them
Religious missions are a popular part of being involved in the Mormon religion, yet most of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast haven’t done one. Just one couple out of the entire cast have taken part in the mission, while the rest have made a firm pass on it.
It turns out only Whitney Leavitt and her husband, Conor, are known to have publicly gone on a Mormon Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints mission. It could be the rest of the cast haven’t made it public, but with MomTok, you’d think they’d have shared.
Both Whitney and Conor were in the same social circles back in 2010, when Leavitt was matched to serve Conner’s family during her mission trip and stayed at his house. They did not officially start dating until later, in 2015, during a double date.

In January, Tara Herbert shared a photo on her mission with Whitney years ago. Whitney told Omny FM: “I was there [in South Africa] doing humanitarian work and I absolutely loved it. AfterHawaii, I went on a mission and then I went to Boyo Provo and Atlanta.”
Multiple people have shared pictures of Whitney as their mission companion, such as the below from 2013. The rest of the Mormon Wives cast haven’t revealed whether they’ve done missions but Taylor Frankie Paul told Us Weekly she’s “open to any religion.”

Chase and Jacob have spoken about doing a mission in the past, while the girls are not expected to do them. Mayci, however, never done a mission because she fell pregnant at the time she would likely have completed one. Mormons are not allowed to go if they have kids.
