Layla just revealed the Mormon Wives relationship that’s changed the most for her since season one
'I feel like she's just my safe place'
By the time season three of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives rolled around, the dynamics were far more layered than they were in the show’s early days.
Alliances had shifted, long-simmering tensions finally bubbled up, and personal growth became impossible to fake.
So when Layla Taylor pinpoints the relationship that’s transformed the most since season one, it says a lot about where the group stands now and how much the series has reshaped the way these women move through their friendships.
She exclusively told Reality Shrine which of her relationships has changed the most…

Speaking exclusively to Reality Shrine, Layla dished on the relationship that’s changed the most for her since the show began.
She told us: “Miranda. When she joined, everyone had reservations initially. I don’t remember what day it was. But, me and her sat down one day and had a deep conversation.”
The two bonded over being single moms, according to Layla.
Miranda told her: “I saw this opportunity and how it changed your life,” and decided to join the show.
Layla said it was a “wow” moment right there, and said: “I get it, and I get why you’re here, and then we just talked more. We have so much in common, and she’s just, I’m so thankful, truly, every day that she came back to this experience, and she was willing to be part of the show because having somebody that truly gets me and sees me for who I am, and I feel like she’s just my safe place.”
The mom of two continued: “We’ll have a hard scene filming one day, and the second that I leave the scene, I’m calling her, and I’m like, oh my god, that did not just happen, and it’s just really nice to have somebody that I can always count on and rely on.
“Not that I don’t feel the same way of the other women, but having your best, best, best friend is, it’s really nice.”
She dishes on whether she has regrets after Mormon Wives

When it comes to some of the antics of the Mormon Wives cast members, there could be some regretful moments lingering in the air, but not for Layla.
She said: “I don’t regret anything, or regret a thing that I’ve ever said.
“I just think my approach maybe sometimes can be some people may not like it, and that’s a bummer if you don’t like that, but I’m also, I’m a very blunt, sarcastic person, I feel like sometimes people don’t get that humor, and sometimes it’s just things are light-hearted and people read way too into it, so, but yeah, no, I stand ten toes down on everything I’ve said.”
Layla spills on what the toughest part of filming is

Layla also said the toughest part of appearing on the show is “probably just the outsider’s opinions.”
“They see very little of situations that are very big, they are seeing very little, even though they think they have all the context of Jessi and Jordan’s marriage, they still see very little from that, and they think they have all the context of my life growing up, and the things that I’ve gone through. But they see very little on that as well,” she explained.
“They just see such a small portion of what we are already very vulnerable and open on sharing, so I think that’s the hardest part, is that people make misconceptions on all of us women without knowing the full story. So, that can be challenging. And I just wish sometimes people would look at us sometimes as humans that are still trying to navigate life. Even with Demi and all the things that she does, I know that some women probably couldn’t say the same, I hope that she’s able to learn and grow from this, and I don’t wish her any ill will, I would never wish it on anybody.”
Layla continued: “If I can forgive people in my life that have done me much dirtier than Demi has, then I can give her grace in that scenario, but I hope that she heals and is able to figure out some things moving forward.”
“I think the only situation that makes it hard is when there’s context missing from situations that if there’s just a pinch more context, maybe the audience would be more gracious in situations and maybe understand the full story, but at the end of the day, I think if you move through this experience authentically to who you are, hopefully the audience is able to see that side of you.”
