Right, so which Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast members are actually Mormon?
Are any of them actually religious anymore?
The drama in Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is so wild I genuinely forget that some of the cast are actually still Mormons.
However some cast members have decided to leave the church since filming started, so let’s have a look at who is actually still a practicing Mormon.
Mayci Neeley

Mayci is still “active in the church” and has previously mentioned that she has “temple recommend” which means she has an active certificate which allows her to enter the temple.
She explained on The Viall Files: “I have a temple recommend, which means I’m worthy to go in the temple. You have to be worthy to enter into the house of the Lord.”

Jenn Affleck is the most active member of the Mormons on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and still wears garments whilst filming.
She explained on the show: “There are pros and cons to being raised in the Mormon faith, but for me, it was my relationship with God and I always go back to that even when I doubt my faith.”

Jessi had admitted she’s the least religious of the entire cast, describing herself as a “zero out of 10 on the Mormon scale” after leaving the church when she was in her twenties.
Mikayla Matthews

Mikayla hasn’t been an active member of the church for around 10 years, but she did grow up in a religious household.
She explained: “I haven’t been active for, like, 10 years. I grew up in California, so it’s very different. I grew up with my mom cussing us out on the way to church — and she was a church leader.
“In Utah, it’s completely different, so I don’t feel like I was ever that [religious.] I was never by the book; we did things on Sunday.”

Demi revealed she’s “stepped away from more of the religious practices,” and whilst she’s still spiritual she no longer participates in the church.
Layla Taylor

Layla previously converted to the Mormon faith, but is now no longer “super active” and doesn’t consider herself strongly committed to the church.
She explained on The Viall Files: “I try to go to church as much as I can, but I had sex before I was married [and] I drink here and there.
“I’m taking it day by day. Ultimately, just my relationship with God, I feel like that’s what it comes down to and that’s just so personal.”
