From splits to engagements: All the biggest relationship updates since Selling The OC ended
A lot has gone on
From whirlwind new romances to breakups that happened once the cameras stopped rolling, the Selling The OC cast has been busy since season four wrapped.
The show left us with a few budding love stories and a couple of serious commitments… and real life has already levelled things up. Think surprise engagement rings, quiet splits and one very off-camera fiancée who suddenly sits at the centre of it all.
It’s safe to say the cameras should’ve kept rolling with all this drama going on. Let’s get into the biggest relationship updates since Selling The OC ended.
Tyler Stanaland is officially off the market

Tyler might have been processing his divorce and that messy will-they-or-won’t-they storyline with Alex Hall on the show, but off-screen his love life has completely moved on. He is now engaged to writer Hannah Morrissey, who we never got to see on the series at all.
Tyler hard-launched the relationship on Instagram earlier this year, then revealed in a Tudum chat that he was “very happily” seeing someone new. That “someone” turned out to be Hannah, and by October 17, he was down on one knee during a romantic getaway at a spot that meant a lot to them as a couple.
He shared footage of the proposal on Instagram, calling their relationship a “transformation” and describing their little unit – including their dog Honey – as “absolute magic,” per People.
This all comes about three years after his divorce from Brittany Snow was finalised in July 2023, closing the chapter on a marriage that people watching Selling The OC heard plenty of whispers about but never truly saw.
Polly Brindle and Luke Gulbranson are taking things slow

Season four gave us an unexpected crossover romance when Polly was set up with Summer House alum Luke Gulbranson. The two bonded over their past modelling careers, small-town roots and a shared love of food, and quickly turned one blind date into pool kisses and flirty house tours across the OC, per Coming Soon.
So where are they now? Post-finale, Polly told Netflix’s Tudum that “Luke is great” and admitted that dating again and being vulnerable on camera was fun but nerve-racking after being single for so long. The catch is geography. Luke is still based in New York while Polly’s life and career are firmly rooted in Orange County, so she has been pretty honest that she is hesitant to make big moves until he is actually closer.
Alex Hall and Ian Young’s romance has already crashed

On the show, Alex Hall introduced us all to her boyfriend Ian Young, a private pilot who swept her into a Temecula love story complete with house-hunting and talk of blending their lives.
By the time Tudum checked in ahead of the season, Alex was saying everything with Ian was “going great” and that they were figuring out how to juggle her OC base with their new Temecula home.
Very shortly after that interview went live, things imploded. Alex confirmed on Instagram that she and Ian had split, bluntly replying “No” when a follower asked if they were still together, then describing the breakup as “a complete cluster f**k” in her Stories.
She explained that she had moved to Temecula “with an open heart” but that some things came to light that just did not align with what she wants for her future or her kids. Right now, she says her belongings are in storage and she and the children are in a short-term rental in Dana Point while she works out her next move, according to Cosmopolitan.
It is a pretty dramatic off-camera twist for a relationship that season four framed as her fresh start after all that Tyler tension.
Even Tyler’s ex, Brittany Snow, has a new engagement

In a slightly meta parallel update, Tyler’s ex-wife, Brittany Snow, is also engaged again.
Apparently, the Pitch Perfect star said ‘yes’ to photographer Hunter Moreno roughly three years after finalising her divorce from Tyler. The engagement came about a year into their relationship, which they have mostly kept low-key apart from a few sweet social media interactions, per Page Six.
So while the OC crew are still arguing over listings and loyalty on Netflix, their real love lives are moving at lightning speed off-screen – with fresh engagements, complicated long-distance situations and at least one cluster of breakup chaos that never made it into a confessional.
