These two Celebrity Traitors cast members had a brutal off-screen argument we didn’t see

I’m shocked this happened

It turns out the mind games on Celebrity Traitors didn’t just stay in the castle. According to the Daily Mail, Stephen Fry and historian David Olusoga had a serious unseen argument out while filming the latest season of the BBC competition, and the drama was apparently so intense that it might never make it to air.

The Daily Mail claims that tensions between the two escalated during one of the show’s most heated discussions about who could be hiding as a traitor. What started as a passionate debate apparently tipped over into a full-blown argument, leaving the rest of the cast stunned.

A production insider said the exchange became a major talking point among contestants, who were surprised to see two of the show’s most respected personalities clashing so openly.

It’s believed producers decided to cut the footage, feeling it didn’t fit with the main storyline that focused on comedian Alan Carr, singer Cat Burns, and presenter Jonathan Ross secretly playing as the traitors. Sources close to the production described the disagreement as “unexpected but understandable”, given how seriously both Fry and Olusoga took the challenge.

“The irony,” one insider said, “is that neither of them was actually a Traitor. They ended up arguing over nothing — which in a way sums up the brilliance of the show.”

This week’s episode continued the chaos, with another contestant murdered overnight by the reigning trio of Alan, Cat, and Jonathan, who have so far managed to avoid much suspicion. It seems the real fireworks might have happened off-camera, and the fact that the footage may never be shown only adds to the mystery surrounding what really went down between Stephen and David.

If nothing else, it’s proof that The Traitors can cause just as much tension in real life as it does around the round table.
