Reality star’s breast implants suddenly ruptured after she ignored the pain for two years
She’s getting them redone again
TOWIE‘s Georgia Kousoulou is speaking out after revealing her breast implants suddenly ruptured. She said that she got them done 14 years ago and had started to feel pain in the last two years, but would never have known they’d broke until she found a lump.
She said on the We Need To Talk podcast with Paul Brunson: “So now I’m actually redoing my boobs. So they’re now 14 years old and I found a lump in my boob in the summer. Literally three days later, I saw this doctor, he felt it and was like, ‘I know what you mean.'”
Georgia explained how the doctor scanned her chest straight away and added: “He was like, ‘Okay, the lump is nothing to worry about.’ I was like, ‘Oh my god, thank god,’ and he’s like, ‘I’m gonna scan the other.’ As he’s scanning the other one, he’s like, ‘Can you see that?'”
The doctor explained her implant had ruptured on one side. “He’s like, ‘You need to get them out when you get home. They’ve not gone into lymph nodes which is obviously good but that is not saying that they won’t, implants can leak,'” Georgia recalled.

She continued: “I’ve been recommended this surgeon in London. Really lovely guy. He was like, ‘How are you not in pain, are you not in agony?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, I’ve had a bit of pain, but I’m going to be honest I’ve been busy, I’ve had a baby, I’ve done IVF, got married.'”
“I’ve had a lot happened in my last two years of life. I’ve just ignored them. He’s like, ‘You can’t do that, you need to get them out.’ So I’m now getting them out. I think the problem nowadays with implants is they disguise things, listen, surgery is up to everyone,” she added.
The TOWIE star warned: “I think if it’s going to make you feel good about yourself, why not do it? If it’s safe and you’re going to a great doctor that you really recommend, why should anyone tell you, you shouldn’t do it? But please just feel them more, touch them.”
“It could be the implant, it could be a lump, just get them checked. If you’ve got an implant, you need to get that scan, because unless you’re getting a scan, you can’t tell. I would have never known that they ruptured, I’d have never known they’d broken,” Georgia said.
