Dani Dyer claps back after Georgia Steel is slammed for wearing ‘white’ to her wedding
People think it was totally unacceptable
Georgia Steel was dragged online for seemingly breaking a huge rule at Dani Dyer’s wedding last weekend, and the bride has now clapped back.
The ex-Love Islander married West Ham footballer Jarrod Bowen at the gorgeous Langley Hotel in Buckinghamshire on Saturday and Georgia was one of the guests.
They met on series four of the ITV reality show in 2018 and have stayed friends ever since.
Georgia posed with her boyfriend, Ipswich Town defender Harry Clarke, in Instagram pictures from the happy day, and people were quick to comment on the fact that she was wearing a ‘white’ dress.
It’s a general rule that guests shouldn’t wear white to a wedding as it distracts from the bride, who should be the only one wearing that colour, so she was heavily slammed online.
However, Dani has now defended her friend on TikTok. She commented on a video about the drama and told people to stop being so negative, because she doesn’t care what her bestie wore!
“It really doesn’t bother me! People just like to be negative. It was pale yellow and she looked beautiful,” she wrote with two kisses.

The saga doesn’t end there, though. People have found the exact dress she wore online from a brand called Miss Circle and found it’s not actually yellow at all – it’s beige!
The Idra Lace Trim Sleeveless Crochet Midi Trailing Dress costs £206 and very clearly lists the colour as “soft beige” in the description.
“Designed in a soft beige floral crochet fabric, this sleeveless dress features a ruffled breast decoration, lace trim, and a subtle keyhole cutout for a touch of charm,” it says.

Whether beige is suitable to wear for a wedding is down to personal preference and some people might think it’s unacceptable, but Dani obviously didn’t care, so nobody else should either.
