MAFS Australia groom Adrian shares theory on why his agent dropped him after a week
Well, that didn’t last long
Everyone knows that you don’t go on reality TV shows to fine love. You go on reality TV shows to land Instagram brand deals. Plenty of the MAFS Australia 2025 crew seem to be heading down the influencer path – Carina, Clint, Dave, Eliot, Jacqui and Paul have already signed up with talent agencies. Adrian did follow in their footsteps… but was dropped by the talent agency after less than a week. He has shared his thoughts on why this happened.
So, on 5th May, the celebrity management agency Ministry of Talent announced they’d signed up the controversial MAFS Australia groom Adrian Araouzou. The director Roxy Jacenko wrote on Instagram: “Thrilled to announce that Adrian is now represented by the Ministry of Talent for social media collabs and appearances! Get in touch for opportunities.”
However, a few days later, this social media post mysteriously vanished. Adrian removed the Ministry of Talent from his Instagram bio. On 13th May, Roxy Jacenko confirmed her company wasn’t going to represent him anymore.
@adrianaraouzou For me, it’s not about the 100k followers I’ve never sought validation in numbers, views, or likes. This milestone hits different because of who I’ve become along the way in the past years. I’ve shown up as my authentic self everyday & every video never dimmed my light, never changed who I am to fit a mold. I create content I genuinely enjoy. I rode the waves of hate and learned that other people’s negativity only has power if you give it power. Cheers to 100k not just a number, but a testament to staying real. 🥂😁🍰 #fyp
Adrian has shared his thoughts on why he was dropped so suddenly. He reckons it was because of the negative reaction Roxy received for signing him. Adrian told Chattr: ““I can understand [Roxy’s] point of view [if she received] backlash. People hate seeing people do good and unfortunately, a lot of people will do the most to make sure I don’t.”
Well, that clears things up.
Adrian also told Yahoo he can see why the management company wouldn’t want to get involved with him. He said: “There are no hard feelings. I understand what it is.”

He also explained that he has plenty of plans for posting on social media by himself. Adrian said: “I plan on dissociating anything to do with MAFS. I enjoy creating content, so I’ll continue to keep on doing that just like I was doing before the show. I have other business ventures that I would like to explore and see where life takes me. I am an open book right now. Oh, [and] continue the quest to find my forever person.”
Adrian was attempting to be an influencer long before his signed up for MAFS Australia 2025. He mostly posted inspirational adult colouring videos, baking tutorials, and his musings on bags.
