Squid Game cast member reveals season three is ‘truly unimaginably brutal and cruel’

I don’t know how much more I can take

After the tragic events of Squid Game season two, I’m fully expecting season three of the hit Netflix series to be even crazier. However, after what this cast member said about the next season I’m genuinely a little bit terrified for what might be greeting us.

During a recent interview, Yo Ju-ri who is Player 222, revealed exactly what audiences could expect from season three of Squid Game and it sounds like it’s going to be an emotionally harrowing watch.

She confessed: “It seems like a lot of people have been predicting the contents of Season three, but it seems like not many of them have gotten it right as I thought.”

She terrifyingly added: “A truly unimaginably brutal and cruel story awaits, so please look forward to it.” That sounds so ominous.

It’s not the first time we’ve had hints from the cast members about what season three could entail, after Lee Jung-jae who plays Gi-hun told The Korea Times about what viewers should expect next season.

He revealed: “I’m not here to justify the viewers’ reactions or explain our intentions. Season 3 will provide clarity to many of the questions fans have.

“I’m eager for the audience to see how he evolves from this low point. He enters a deadly game with the hope of saving lives.

“Despite his efforts to lead, he faces numerous setbacks and ultimately hits rock bottom. It will be exciting to see how he will overcome these challenges.”

I’m also terrified my favourite mother and son duo might not be making it very far into the next season after they accidentally dropped a huge spoiler about how much time they spent filming together…

Safe to say I think some definite tears will be shed during season three of Squid Game.
