Zoe Sugg offers rare insight into relationship with her father in new Vlogmas video

Her dad is rarely mentioned online

Zoe Sugg offered a rare glimpse into her family life with her divorced parents, including her father, in a new Vlogmas upload with her husband, Alfie.

Uploaded two days ago, the married couple vlog their Christmas festivities with their children, before filming a chatty catch up whilst lying in bed.

Zoe and Alfie then went on to discuss their previous visits to both of Zoe’s parents house, including how they used to visit Zoe’s dad’s house together.

Having shared little about her parent’s divorce online, fans were quick to notice mention of the relationship between Zoe Sugg and her dad. Speaking in past tense, Alfie discussed how visits to Zoe’s mum, brother are completely different.

Talking more specifically about having drinks during dinner, Alfie explained how when he first met Zoe, he found it strange that she, along with Joe and her dad, don’t drink whilst eating.

Alfie said: “That blew my mind when we first got together and it still does. When you go over for dinner at like Zoe’s mum’s house, and like Joe’s there as well – actually no, your mum does [do it now]. But if I was to go to like your brother’s for dinner and we have, like, dinner at the table, you and Joe both don’t have a drink at the table.

“Or if you go to your dads. We’d have dinner at your dads and it would be like – there are no glasses on the table. I’m the opposite, I drink a lot of liquids.”

There isn’t much information widely known about the relationship between Zoe Sugg and her dad. Her mother, Tracey Sugg, is often mentioned by Zoe and Joe online, and recently remarried, with Zoe’s children referring to him as “grandad”.

The mention of Zoe’s dad didn’t go unnoticed by followers, who were quick flag to its significance. A wide theory is that her father prefers to be out of the spotlight, and with Zoe ammassing over five million followers on YouTube alone, it wouldn’t be unreasonable.
