J.R. claims his ‘hall pass’ comment was faked by The Ultimatum producers through editing
‘Y’all so gullible to believe anything’
Honestly, that moment during The Ultimatum when J.R. was exposed as being the one who originally said the “hall pass” comment was seriously one of the best moments I’ve seen on reality TV.
In case you need a little update, there was a huge rumour going around during The Ultimatum that J.R. was only on the show for a “hall pass”, something he talked about on the show and dismissed as nonsense.
However, during the reunion episode, they showed the clip of him dismissing the rumour and wondering who started it, then immediately after showed a clip of him admitting he “has a hall pass” to do whatever he wants for three weeks. Yikes, quite literally caught in 4k.
But now J.R. has slammed the producers of The Ultimatum for editing the scene and has claimed he never actually said the hall pass comment. Erm, what?!
He replied to a comment on his Instagram that called him out for being the one who said the hall pass comment in the first place, and clapped back, claiming: “Now why would I say that on camera. They showed the back of my head and mixed the audio. Y’all so gullible to believe anything.”
There is no solid proof to suggest Netflix did edit the scene and I can very much imagine J.R. to have said something like that in all honesty. Still, quite wild either way as either it really was edited or he’s still trying to maintain an aura of innocence despite literally being caught out having been the one to say it.
