Inside Gregg Wallace’s middle class family life with his fourth wife
He lives in a massive fancy farmhouse in Kent
Gregg Wallace is under fire this week. Several women have claimed he made inappropriate and sexualised comments about them when they worked with him on MasterChef and other TV shows. Because of all these new allegations, his very strange daily routine has resurfaced (in which he only spends an hour and a half with his kid). So, here’s a deep dive into what Gregg Wallace’s family life is really like, in those few hours a week he actually spends with them.
Who is his wife? How many wives has he had before? Exactly how big is his mansion in Kent? We shall answer all.
Who is Gregg Wallace’s (current) wife?
Gregg Wallace has legit had four wives. His first marriage lasted a grand total of six weeks. He was then married to a pastry chef called Denise Lovall between 1999 and 2004. They have two kids together – Libby (who’s now 26) and Tom (who’s now 29). In 2011, Gregg Wallace met a school teacher called Heidi Brown on Twitter and married her. She was 30 and he was 47. They filed for divorce after 15 months.
Twitter is apparently Gregg Wallace’s favourite place to find wives? He met his current wife Anne-Marie Sterpini on the site in 2013 while discussing rhubarb. She’s a caterer. Gregg Wallace often calls her “Anna” in interviews. They got married in 2016, when she was 30 and he was 51. Their son Sid Massimo Wallace was born in 2019.
He lives in a massive mansion in Kent
Gregg Wallace moved to this mega-fancy house in 2017. I guess MasterChef was paying him well.

Gregg Wallace seems to want the world to know exactly how fancy his house is, because he’s posted many, many pics of it on his Instagram. The whopping farmhouse is in a village called Biddenden, which looks exactly how American tourists think all England is like. It’s in the bougie Ashford area of Kent. Denise Van Outen apparently lives nearby?
The house has *takes deep breath* five bedrooms, three bathrooms, five acres of land, a pond and stables. Really.
The interior is very fancy – it has classic English farmhouse vibes. Like a Laura Ashley catalogue. He claimed on his Instagram that all his furniture is second hand, and was thrifted by his wife. The couple own lots of mahogany furniture and neoclassical sculptures. As you do.
Gregg Wallace agreed to have another kid if his in-laws moved in to do the housework for him?
Really. He actually said this to the Daily Mail in 2020. Gregg Wallace reenacted a conversation with his wife about having children.
Gregg Wallace said, “I said: ‘Yes, I’m willing to have a baby with you, but a couple of provisos … I’m not willing to swap my fun, sexy girlfriend for an exhausted mum. We make enough money, I’d like you to get help in the house.’ Anna said ‘What about my mum?’ That was perfect.”
His daily routine is… unorthodox
Gregg Wallace has been dragged time and time again for his very strange daily routine. Apparently he only spends an hour and a half each day with his son Sid – who is autistic and non-verbal. Compare this to the hour and a half he spends having breakfast at a Harvester with his PA, and the two hours he spends playing Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia. Apparently he plays this video game because he’s an “amateur historian”.
Although Gregg Wallace is theoretically a chef, his wife seems to do lots of the cooking for him. He told The Telegraph thaat at 12 pm he’s “back home for lunch, which my wife Anna will have ready on the table. Her white bean soup with a crust of bread is a family favourite.” Gregg Wallace only cooks for his family once a week.
