Prepare to feel hungry…
With so many options on your doorstep it can be tough to know where to go for a quick lunch or a flatmate dinner in Leeds. We’re all guilty of going back to our favourite places time and time again, so here’s our top five new restaurants to break that habit…
Boojum
Best described as a Mexican Subway, Boojum does make-your-own burritos in the best way possible.
The nachos are a perfect balance of cheesy and crispy, not too oily like some may find at other Mexican restaurants.
Located nine minutes away from the Uni of Leeds campus and only five minutes from the Beckett City campus there’s no excuse not to stop by for a quick but filling lunch.
Flat Iron
Having opened at the end of November last year, Flat Iron have been serving up brilliant steak at affordable prices to the people of Leeds for nearly a year!
With Leeds being lucky enough to be the first place up North to welcome the restaurant, their menu features succulent steak starting at just £14.
After your complimentary popcorn to start, whether you opt for homemade beef dripping chips or crispy bone marrow garlic mash is completely up to you, either way you’re in for a treat.
And the perfect end to the meal is one of their amazing Tahitian vanilla soft serve ice creams topped with chocolate shavings. And the best part? It comes free with the meal, just trade your silver cleaver token in at the end!
