It’s being called a “pink tote lid” moment because the trend started with one specific viral video.

In the clip, a girl wearing a pink t-shirt explained that she just got out of the shower and her mum asked her to “go and put the pink things in my room”.

She didn’t know what her mum meant so she repeated: “Pink things?”

Her mum looked at her angrily and shouted: “Just put the goddamn pink tote lids in my f***ing bedroom. The pink f***ing tote lids. Are you f***ing dumb?”
