Former UCLan student says Man City player got her pregnant

She says Wilfried Bony pursued her over Instagram last summer, but he has denied her claims

A London student has claimed a multi-million pound footballer got her pregnant and then dumped her when he found out.

Courtney Ngobe accused Wilfried Bony of leaving her after discovering she was pregnant with his child.

27-year-old Bony, who earns £100,000 a week, has denied the allegations and requested a paternity test. Ngobe, 23, from London, claims she did not know Bony was married with children when the affair took place.

Courtney’s sister, Nicole Ngobe, told The Sun: “Bony chased my sister over Instagram. She’s a 23-year-old and naïve, but she fell for him.

“He has demanded a paternity test and when she agreed to give one before the birth he said no he’ll wait until after.”

Courtney is 8 months pregnant

Ngobe, who previously studied at UCLan, posted a photo of her ultrasound scan on Instagram including a link to the handle “W.Bony”. She captioned the picture: “Our gift from God. A blessing sent from heaven. Created with a purpose, and part of God’s perfect plan.”

Bony began his professional career with Issia Wazi in 2006, and is currently 16 months into his four and a half year deal with the Premier League Club Manchester City. At present he lives with his family in a rented mansion which costs £10,000 a month.

The £28 million striker has 183,000 Instagram followers and frequently posts pictures of his two sons.

Bony denies the accusations

Last night Bony’s agent said: “Mr Bony has been made aware of various social media posts which are both upsetting and distressing for him and his family.

“Mr Bony asks that his privacy and his family’s privacy be respected at this time.”
