It’s almost a rite of passage to start a podcast after appearing on a reality TV show, and a lot of Married at First Sight Australia 2023 cast members have decided to give that route a go with their newfound fame.

The MAFS Australia 2023 cohort of brides and grooms have all turned to the world of podcasts and have been producing some truly hilarious episodes so far, while some are still in the works.

So, here are all the MAFS Australia 2023 cast members who have started podcasts since leaving the show and where you can listen to them.

Tahnee

Tahnee has joined the podcast trend and recently revealed The Chuffed Podcast to her followers.

Announcing the news on her Instagram, Tahnee wrote: “Say hello to the @chuffedpod. Yep she’s just another gal with a podcast. I’m SO chuffed to announce the launch of my podcast. I seriously can’t wait to share this project with you, it’s been so fun working on it and I hope you’ll love it as much as I do.”

Ollie

One groom everyone to desperate to see and hear more of was Ollie Skelton. He won the hearts of both Australia and the UK and following on from his career in audio, he started a podcast earlier in June.

The podcast is called The Tosser Pod and Ollie has promised to cover a lot of ground and feature a lot of well-known faces.

According to the podcast’s bio, it will cover pop culture news, life experiences and the secrets of reality TV. The synopsis for the podcast reads: “Whether you’re seeking inspiration, a good laugh, or just a break from the daily grind, The Ollie Skelton Show Everyone Rates has got you covered.”

The first episode of The Tosser Pod was met with a little bit of controversy following a dare Ollie gave Rupert. During the podcast, Ollie dared Rupert to call a bride from their season.

“You only get a short time on this crazy thing called MAFS and I was wondering. Do you want to set up a few pap shots and make it a thing for a month for the publicity?” Rupert asked.

The unknown bride responded: “If you want to, we can do that,” before adding: “Publicity? Who do you think we are?”

However, some listeners thought the prank was unkind, forcing Ollie to address the situation. In a Reddit thread, Ollie wrote: “Argh man, we didn’t want to out the person. It was kinda like a bit that was ‘Oh do you think we could get away with XYZ?’ It was never specifically meant to target an individual but rather, ‘could Rupert get away with this.’ In saying that there’s obviously collateral that comes with that, and I think the criticism of that is fair.”

The synopsis for Harrison’s podcast reads: “A new podcast hosted by Harrison Boon having the uncomfortable and controversial conversations needed in todays world. Shedding light on the issues we face and trying to bring a positive message with each guest.”
