MAFS Australia’s Duncan and Evelyn reveal how they fell in love and I’m obsessed

There are some couples that you’d automatically assume couldn’t get any more adorable and then Duncan and Evelyn do something and you rethink everything.

In an interview with Punkee, the MAFS Australia 2023 couple revealed how they fell for each other and honestly, it’s the cutest thing ever.

Talking about what he loves about Evelyn the most, Duncan said: “People might think she’s high maintenance… but there’s the other side to Ev who stays in her pyjamas all day. Getting to see both sides, and how funny Evelyn is – they’re the parts I like most about her.”

Duncan and Evelyn both met while they took part in the MAFS Australia experiment, but they were matched with different people. It was after their respective relationships ended they formed a connection with one another.

Evelyn said viewers got to see an “emotionally intelligent and confident side” to Duncan during MAFS Australia, however “he’s a bit of a dork at heart”, which enticed her.

“Once we both discovered the inner dorkiness in each other, we were like okay, we like this,” Evelyn explained.

Evelyn and Duncan hard launched their relationship back in May after weeks of speculation. In an interview with 9Entertainment, the pair lifted the lid on their romance by doing an Honesty Box challenge and revealed how their relationship came about.

The first question read asked: “Are you in a relationship?” “Yes I am!” Duncan said with a big grin, continuing: “Well yes we are!”

Evelyn added: “This is Evelyn and Duncan’s hard launch. It feels good to finally just say it, and it feels kind of exhilarating in a weird, freeing way.”
