Ryan admits he mishandled Nile and Genesis situation after watching Owning Manhattan
Ryan revealed he hadn't seen the context of the scenes until now
One of the biggest points of conflict on this season of Owning Manhattan was between Genesis, Nile, Jess and Jordan, with things really coming to a head in Miami.
After Genesis claimed she’d completed a $3 million deal with her client Mercedes at dinner, Jess and Jordan started doubting whether her claim was true, with the pair making fun of her after her announcement.

Genesis later admitted to Nile that she whilst she had sold an apartment it wasn’t for $3 million, and when she came clean to Ryan later she explained it was because she felt like she had something to prove to Jess and Jordan, something Ryan empathised with.
Earlier on in the season Genesis, Jess and Nile were involved in a huge feud after Jess falsely accused Genesis of trying to steal her client, with Nile then getting heated on her behalf.

This led Ryan to call them all into a meeting to let them know that if he has a one strike policy and it can’t happen again.
However, many people think that Ryan should have been more lenient with Nile and Genesis given the situation, something he has now admitted to.
Taking to Instagram, Ryan spoke out about how he’s also watching Owning Manhattan in its entirety for the first time, and admitted that he would have handled the Nile and Genesis situation differently had he known the context.

He explained: “So I just want to clear up that I saw the show for the first time this weekend too.
“I know I’m an executive producer and I saw a lot of it when we finished filming in May, but but I didn’t see the final cuts just like the rest of you guys until this weekend.
“And so actual context of these scenes and how they went down has taken me a minute to process and I think there’s definitely some things both in Miami and with Nile and that whole scene that I would have handled differently.”
