What did Jonathan Normolle say on podcast to get himself fired from Owning Manhattan?
I can't believe this actually happened
Cast your mind back to the previous season of Owning Manhattan and you might remember that Jonathan Normolle was thankfully fired during the finale, mainly due to his controversial podcast episode.
So, what exactly did Jonathan Normolle say during that podcast episode to get himself fired from Owning Manhattan last season? Let’s take a trip down memory lane.
During the official Owning Manhattan podcast, Jessica Markowski and Jonathan rudely insulted their co-star Savannah and her real estate skills.
Jonathan rudely commented: “What the f**k would she do with a deal?” If I owned the firm, I wouldn’t give her a deal, because she would fumble it. And then Ryan loses money. If Ryan gives deals to us, he knows we’ll close it, so there’s a difference there.”
Jessica explained to People afterwards that she wasn’t expecting him to make those comments about Savannah.
She explained: “I think we had goals of doing a podcast to talk about business and interview interesting entrepreneurs. That was the whole mindset of doing a podcast, but when I went in there, it kind of was something that took me by surprise.”
