The absolutely eyewatering amount that Whitney Leavitt got paid on Dancing With The Stars has been revealed, and it’s a bit outrageous.
According to Variety, the base pay for a celebrity contestant on Dancing With The Stars is $125,000, which covers the rehearsal periods and first two weeks of the show when no eliminations take place.

After that the celebrities earn bonuses the longer they manage to stay on the show, with an additional $10k for weeks three and four, $15k for weeks six and seven, $30k for weeks eight and nine, and a whopping $50k per week if the contestant reaches the semi-finals and finals.
That’s a serious potential payday.
Whitney Leavitt didn’t manage to make it to the Dancing With The Stars finale, but she did make it to the semi-finals, with her estimations being that she got paid a whopping $310,000 for the show.

As for how that compares to her salary for Secret Wives of Mormons Lives, reports suggest cast members are paid between $1k to $10k per episode, and with the most recent season featuring ten episodes.
That means at a minimum Whitney could have received $10k for the season or up to $100k, which is still a lot less than she got paid for Dancing With The Stars.
