Only two of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast allegedly aren’t Trump supporters

Just two of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast aren’t Donald Trump supporters. From Demi Engemann still following Trump on socials and sharing her political stance in the past, to Miranda’s husband Chase calling out his MAGA co-stars, it’s all going on.

Layla and Miranda are the only Mormon Wives stars who aren’t Trump supporters, according to Chase McWhorter. He’s been really open about his liberal stance, alongside his wife, with them both having been publicly anti-MAGA since as far back as 2020.

When someone told Chase, “Spill the tea on who the Mormon wife Trumpers are,” he replied back when season two began airing, “Everyone but Layla and Miranda.” Layla confirmed this, telling someone “she’s not” when they said “these girls love Trump”.

Apparently, the cast have been banned from discussing their political views, Mayci Neeley revealed. When someone told her, “If only you weren’t a Trump supporter,” she replied, “These assumptions are wild. Contractually we aren’t allowed to talk about our political views.’

She continued, “So I’m sick of seeing these comments on every post even though no one knows my views. They assume since I’m Mormon that I am super conservative and that’s not the case.” For example, there were rumours Layla liked pro-Trump posts, before her denial.

Demi and Taylor have spoken out on politics

Demi has not specifically stated where she stands politically but is the only cast member that follows Donald Trump and his wife, Ivanka, on Instagram. She did, however, write: “You don’t know me nor who I voted for nor will I say bc I have a right to keep it private.”

Taylor, on the other hand, has been a lot more open. She’s written in the past, “YESSS TRUMP ALL THE WAY” and “Represent sis,” under a social media post supporting Trump. However, she doesn’t follow him on Instagram, unlike Demi.
