The speculation comes after the fruity pebbles saga
People are convinced Demi Engemann has quit The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives after the whole fruity pebbles saga. Now there’s an entire discourse on the rumours, and considering Demi has brought a lot of drama to every season, we had to debunk them.
Basically, it all comes from when Demi did briefly quit the Hulu show before season three. She’d felt she wasn’t valued following an argument with co-star Taylor Frankie Paul, but then came back to set the record straight – and she’s stayed ever since.
She threatened to leave the entire MomTok community if Taylor stayed, and now, Demi is feuding with Jessi over contract negotiations and affair allegations with Marciano. According to Mikayla Mathews, Engemann had asked to make “three times” more than the others.

It all happened just before season three, when it was time to renegotiate her contract, and when it wasn’t given to her, she decided to walk away from the show altogether. But by episode six of that season, Demi was well and truly a main cast member again.
Recently, people have been demanding that Demi leaves the show after the Marciano allegations, and now the fruity pebbles saga. She’s also been really open about how filming works, outing production for setting up a meeting for a big cliffhanger idea.
She’s removed The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives from her Instagram bio and so far, but there are no official statements that she has been fired or quit. At the moment, this is purely speculation because she has removed anything Hulu-related off of her social media.

Demi has been shading the production team though, sharing videos that hint how staged the whole show is. She even shared a video saying she’s the “bad guy” and essentially made a “bed rot exit interview” – so season three may well be the last we saw of Demi!
