Selling The OC’s Alex Hall has an insanely high profile dating history, here’s all her exes

Alex Hall has had a number of high profile exes throughout her time on Selling The OC, so let’s be nosey and see who they all are, as well as why the relationships didn’t work out.

Neil Flores

Alex Hall married her ex-husband Neil Flores when she was 19, with the pair divorcing seven years later she she was 26 in 2015.

He’s a California-based attorney and the father of her two children, with Alex and him splitting who has the kids.

Neil graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego and was admitted to the state bar of California in March 2020.

He specialises in workers’ compensation and international law and started his first business in the medical industry at the age of 18 following high school.

He went on to graduate with honours from the University of California Irvine, and immediately after, was offered a position at a Venture Capital Firm in Orange County.

Alex was the one who ultimately filed for divorce from him, with the type of case is listed as a family legal separation lawsuit and is currently unclassified.

Tyler Stanaland

Tyler Stanaland is one of those exes that Alex Hall will never be able to get away from, more in a literal sense because they work on Selling The OC together.

The pair infamously made out in the hot tub together, and there was always a lot of will they, won’t they between them.

And whilst Alex is now single again, Tyler is happily engaged and the pair seem to be on good terms now.

Tyler told Bustle: I think Alex and I have squashed everything that needed to be squashed. She is living her life, I’m living mine.

“It’s not as tumultuous as one might think. I’m happy for her in her personal life, and it feels like we’ve both found where we want to be, so it’s good.”

Out of all the exes of Alex Hall, this mysterious character is the one we know the least about, with her only briefly mentioning him on Selling The OC and never showing his face on socials.

Alex told Tyler about her new boyfriend during season three of Selling The OC, saying: “Honestly? He’s a catch. On paper, I literally couldn’t create him if I wanted to. It’s perfect.”

However, the pair didn’t last long as by May 2024, Alex confirmed to Bustle that the pair were “no longer dating.”

She explained: “He’s a very private person. He’s pursuing his career and dreams in London. As a working single mom, my priorities are here. So, unfortunately, that became unrealistic.”

Ian Young

Honestly thank god these two have split up, the alarm bells that were ringing when they bought that house together were off the scales.

The pair officially announced their relationship in March, with Ian being a key cast member in the newest season of the show.

And whilst there was a lot of speculation about whether Alex Hall and Ian were still together after the Selling The OC, she’s now officially confirmed they’ve split.

She replied to one comment under a TikTok video of the two of them where she was simply asked: “Are you guys still together?”, responding, “No.”

She then elaborated further, writing on her Instagram story: “No, and it’s been a complete clusterf*ck, I moved to Temecula with an open heart but some things came to light that did not align with what I want mine and my kids future to look like.

“I no longer have my home in Sam Clemente and all my furniture and belongings are currently in a storage facility and the kids and I are in a short term rental in Dana Point.

“We are looking for a new home but haven’t found one yet. Sometimes you can have the best intentions but reality doesn’t play out the way you imagined it would.”
