Jason from Selling Sunset finally reveals the brutal truth behind why he doesn’t want kids

Jason Oppenheim has been frank about not wanting kids on Selling Sunset, with that being the main catalyst towards his split with Chrishell.
During their breakup announcement they both clarified that t heir breakup happened because she wanted kids and he didn’t, with him admitting that “we have different wants regarding a family.”

Chrishell also wrote about their split, saying: “Jason was and is my best friend, and other than our ideas for family not ultimately not being aligned, the amount of respect and love we have for each other will not change going forward.”
She added: “I very much one day hope to have a family and decisions I make at this point are with that goal in mind.”
Jason not wanting kids was also spoken about by Chrishell on Selling Sunset, as she explained: “He just told me that he doesn’t want to have a kid, and so as much as this hurts me to say, I’ve been clear with him about what that would mean, so we are done. We broke up.”
And now on an appearance on the Iced Coffee Hour podcast, Jason openly admitted the real reason he doesn’t want kids, and it mainly comes down to money.

He explained: “I purposefully don’t have kids because I want to f*ck around. I want to buy a Ford GT, and a Rolls Royce, and I want to go fly first class to wherever with my girlfriend.
“I don’t understand how people work hard and have money and don’t do that. The most fun I have with my money is spending it on other people.
“If you’re at a dinner, the person who’s least affected by paying the bill should pay the bill, it’s that simple. If you’re out traveling, it should be based on, who’s least affected.”
