BFFs with Netflix star to same gigs as Adele: Here’s where Alison is after Building The Band
She wrote her latest song with a familiar face
So, Alison appears to have got the villain edit on Building The Band, but she’s certainly been busy since filming the show. She left the fourth episode on quite the cliffhanger as she didn’t know which girls to choose for her band, so where is she now?!
Alison is always hanging out with a Netflix BFF
Remember Kayla Richart, who moved onto Isaac after Too Hot To Handle? Well, that’s 25-year-old singer Alison’s best friend. She often models her label, especially the recent collaboration Kayla done with JMP The Label, and Kayla is just as supportive.
When Alison announced that Building The Band is now in the Netflix top 10, Kayla told her, “So happy for you ❤️ you deserve the world bby girl,” which Alison responded to with, “thank you so much for being so supportive always. love you so much ❤️.”
They’ve been sharing pictures together since February, a few months after the Netflix show wrapped up filming by October 2024. Alison has become quite the influencer ever since they started hanging out, from going to White Fox events to attending Coachella!
She’s performing at the same venues as Adele
Alison recently performed in the same venue where she claims Adele was discovered: The Hotel Cafe! Adele started performing there early on in her career, back in 2008, with Alison now following in her footsteps since as early as February 2024.
She also starred on American Idol back in April 2023, for season 21, and has 239 monthly listeners on her Spotify. Her most-loved song is sweetest sound, with 26K plays so far. And although she’s meant to be in a band, she released a solo track in May!
Having started songwriting from as young as five years old, Alison is now preparing to make a debut album this year and basically dropped a huge spoiler for the show, because she wrote her new song, Sweet Surrender, with Mandy from Building The Band…
She wrote: “written over drinks with a new friend @mandyrosebish who grew to be one of my favourite people, “sweet surrender” is the first song i didn’t have to overthink and the first song of mine to give me full creative range to perform to my fullest ability.”
