Liz predominantly writes news and local story pieces but she also enjoys reporting on history and student drama and controversies.

  • Liz is the Editor-in-Chief of The Nottingham Tab. She oversees the commissioning, editing and writing of articles surrounding local news and student life.
  • Alongside The Tab, Liz helps to run the university's BJJ society as President. She likes to be outside and spends her free time surfing and hiking. When the weather is bad, Liz also enjoys sketching, painting and photography.
  • After her BA Liz plans on doing an MA in Politics and International Relations, aiming for a career in journalism.

Liz joined The Nottingham Tab in 2025. She has run various society social media pages previously and looks forwards to her new position as Editor-in-Chief

Education

Liz is currently in her third year at the University of Nottingham studying Ancient History BA. She studied Classics, Art and Geography at A Level.
