Last night, Dean finally quit MAFS UK 2025. I think from the moment Sarah was revealed as his bride, we could have guessed things weren’t going to work out. But, you have to hand it to them both, they at least stuck it out and tried for a bit. And now since MAFS, Dean has been living it up.

Despite having a truly terrible ride as far as marriages go on the show, he seems to have gotten over it now. Filming for MAFS UK 2025 was a while ago, so even though we’re only just seeing how the couples got on, they’ve had plenty of time since. Filming is believed to have started eight months ago, in February 2025. The whole experiment takes around three months to film, so filming would have ended in April 2025.

So, here’s what Dean has been up to since then.

Dean released a full statement after he and Sarah quit MAFS UK 2025

Straight after the commitment ceremony episode aired, Dean released a statement about his time on MAFS. “Don’t cry because it’s over smile because it happened. That was definitely an emotional watch, and I think doing this show is probably the best thing I could have ever done for myself,” he said.

He thanked everyone who created the show, and said he hoped Dean on the experiment would be proud of where he is today, around five months on. He also made a comment about Sarah, which was quite different to how their marriage was portrayed. “Sarah was really a rock for me in there and helped me learn so much about myself,” he said. Oh?

This summer, Dean headed up to Edinburgh for Fringe. People quickly noted his pictures were identical to Ashley’s, so they must have been there together. A rep for Channel 4 very kindly confirmed to The Tab that Dean and Ashley have become “very close friends” since the show. Adorable!

“First Fringe and won’t be the last! What a great experience, so many great shows ,met so many great people and had the best time,” Dean said in his post. At the same time, Ashley said: “Edinburgh Fringe 2025.”

Before MAFS, Dean worked on cruise ships and as an entertainer. During the show, some videos from his time on the ships went viral. So what would be the natural way to get back to feeling yourself after a failed marriage? A cruise, of course!

Yep, Dean said goodbye to Sarah and hello to the high seas. He shared that he’d been back to work on a cruise, as well as enjoying the trip. He tagged one of the locations he visited as Turkey. “A week onboard, working and exploring,” he said, sharing loads of pictures.

He also took separate trips to Ireland and Benidorm not long after filming wrapped. He’s living!

Of course, Dean is now embarking on his new found fame since MAFS UK. Most recently, he and some former cast members went to some theme park halloween openings. He’s also met a bunch of celebs.

On an Instagram post, he said: “First press event. This life is crazy at the moment, but feeling very grateful.” On another he said: “What a crazy couple of nights! I still have to pinch myself meeting people I’m fans of, and I have been blown away by how kind and nice they all are! I’m so lucky to be going through it all with the best bunch of people. Feeling very lucky and blessed.”
