Old pictures show just how much MAFS UK 2025 bride Sarah Gillanders has changed over the years. Lots of the current brides and grooms have had glow ups, but this is something else.

Sarah had a rocky road on the show. She was matched with Dean, but from day one things looked doomed. Sarah constantly said she wasn’t attracted to Dean, and talked behind his back about getting the ick. He pushed and pushed to keep things going – which he ultimately got called out for – before the couple quit the experiment. After weeks of blaming a lack of “spark”, they decided with the experts it was time to go.

Sarah quite brutally said on their honeymoon that Dean needed to change by “getting tattoos and losing some weight”, but prior to the show she was the one having a big change.

In old photos on Instagram, Sarah can be seen hanging out with mates back in 2018. Sarah is 31 now, so these were likely taken when she was in her mid-20s.

In the photos, Sarah has brown hair which is wild to see. I hardly even recognised her! There are loads of pictures of her from nights out, celebrating New Years and constantly hanging out with friends. You’d be forgiven for scrolling past and not realising it was her.

Before joining MAFS UK 2025, Sarah said she believes there are absolutely no eligible bachelors in her hometown and, if there are, she has probably met them or dated them already. She explained she felt it was time she settled down with “the nicest guy in the world.”
