Before the madness starts on Saturday, you can ease into the celebrations on Friday night. Protect Scouse Dolls and Black Cat Bar and Bottleshop are joining forces to bring boss vibes and bevs, with plans to raise some funds for the LGBTQ+ community.
DJs start from 8pm, and you will be able to donate money in pots and via a QR code all day. Get your dancing shoes on and beeline down to Smithdown Road to start your weekend off right.
March with Pride

In the mood to show support for your queer community across the city? Join Sahir House at the Pier Head from 9:30am on the 26th July, “for a bold beautiful and radically inclusive Pride March”. Speeches will begin at 10:30am with a Muster stage curated by Protest Scouse Dolls.
The march itself commences at 11:30am and is fully wheelchair accessible. It will be led by Protect Scouse Dolls, and followed by Block 1, the only designated marching block for queer people living with disabilities or neurodivergence. Young people under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, but there’s no stopping you from gathering your friends and following the route all the way down to the M&S Bank Arena.
Tickets are free so register to march here! And why not join the University of Liverpool’s LGBT+ Society along the way?
Then prepare for an afternoon of joy and community for Sahir’s celebrations in the M&S Bank Brena. Dancers, drag artists and DJs will be turning up the energy and showcasing Liverpool’s fiercest LGBTQ+ talent. The venue will be transformed into a standing festival space with plenty of space for queer joy to spread her wings.

There will be market stalls fronted by local artists, indie makers, and queer owned businesses and services looking to connect with Liverpool’s gay community. Food and drink will be available as well as seating – celebration never looked so lush and cushy.
For the cute little price of £5.50 for tickets, of course we’ll have a look.
And no, the fun doesn’t end there. There will be four sightseeing buses taking people from the Arena to Victoria Street that will have music and drag queens on them. There will be events and street parties down all the Victoria Street bars.
If you’re looking to secure a student deal, go to Heaven and meet Carmen Sutra for The Big Gay Cabaret for just £5, using code STUDENTFIVE. Doors will be at 7pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. You might as well go all out, right?

You’ve broken off from Sahir’s official celebrations, and had a nosey down Victoria Street, but now you feel like checking out some independent parties around the city. Well, from 2pm till late, Lavender Nights is throwing a Big Pride Garden Party in Botanical Garden.
Entry is free so you can save your pennies for the food, drinks and market stalls. Needless to say the music will be playing.
As the day moves on and you are looking to shift the vibe, head to District for Switch’s Liverpool Alt Pride. DJs including Taman, Hardcore Babes, and more will be bringing the energy for a Ki you simply can’t miss. From 9pm till 3am, that’s your whole evening sorted.
Kazimier Pride Party

There’s room in Liverpool for more than one garden Pride party, so swing by Kaz to touch some grass and face the music.
The party starts at 7 pm sharp. In the garden you’ll hear some noise from Queensway, then in the Kabin you can tune into some tunes from Pukka. Plenty of opportunity to get shuffle-footing darl x
Sonic Yootha

It’s gonna be a biggun. Don’t bother calling it a queer night out in Liverpool if you don’t party at Yootha. From 9pm to 4am feel all the love like you’re Donna Summer for Pride ’25 at Kitchen Street.
Dress loud and proud because Sonic Yootha’s all about a statement. No nonchalance under this disco ball, thank you.

It’s Sunday, you’ve drank oh so responsibly and greeted the morning with a few meaningful glugs of electrolytes. It would be wrong to give up here, because you’ve still got a whole day of Pride left.
Head on down to the Botanical Garden for a busker’s lineup of FLINTA musicians to escort your nervous system back to reality. Doors are at 12pm and the fun starts at 12:30pm, so be there, and don’t be square.
Get your free tickets on eventbrite and leave a donation if you can. Every little helps girls.
With plenty of ways to show up this Pride weekend in Liverpool, queer, ally or otherwise, party and protest and come together.
This year has been a monumental one, with roll backs in protective legislation for trans people leaving many worried about the future for queer people in the country. It has been inspiring to see how the local charities and grassroots organisations have joined forces to revive the movement.
It reminds us why Pride is here, to be loud, to be ourselves, and to know we have our community’s support. Queer people will not fade into the background, and neither will Pride.
Have the best weekend dolls and divas x
