I know you’re curious, so here’s where the imagine us in Dubai TikTok sound is from

I would kill for a chicken tikka masala and jacuzzi right now

After the week we’ve had, it really isn’t difficult to imagine us in Dubai right now. Whether that’s because of the heatwave we’ve had, or the imagine us in Dubai TikTok sound that will not stop bouncing round my brain – perhaps it’s both.

The sound is literally inescapable but it’s not obvious where it came from, or what it really means to be honest. It’s just one of the latest trends doing the rounds on the app that people are using for their own POV videos.

I know you’re curious, so here’s where the imagine us in Dubai TikTok sound is from

The sound was actually uploaded to the app as part of an interview by Nduru, also known as an Asunya, a Kenyan content creator who interviews groups of young lads and asks them to share a quip or a piece of advice to his audience.

Other videos of his simply film satire interactions between groups of young boys, where they roast each other whilst he stands looking confused and unamused.

The imagine us in Dubai TikTok sound was uploaded to the app on April 13th, after Nduru filmed two kids in conversation.

One of them says to the other: “Imagine you and me and the boys go to Dubai, driving some Lamborghinis, tell the chefs to cook some food, then chill at the rooftop, a jacuzzi, and eat a chicken tikka masala, can you imagine the feeling bro?”

The other kid simply responds “Yeah” and they clap hands. It’s all very bro coded, even though these kids can’t be more than 12 or 13 years old.

The video, which now has over 10 million views, has both been recreated and the sound has been used by creators to describe their summer plans, their late night conversations or any yap session between themselves and someone else. Randomly, Deliveroo even gave its two pence on the proverb, writing: “We have a modern Shakespeare in our midst”.

The sound is mainly being used to describe people’s travel plans, whether that be a holiday that’s heavily discussed but never makes it out the group chat, or the way we nag our parents or significant other to take us somewhere special.

Either way, it’s highly relatable and will continue to be stuck in my head all month.
