Chilling prophecy about the Pope’s death makes terrifying end of the world prediction

It looks like we’re all doomed

After Pope Francis’ death, a chilling 900-year-old prophecy has surfaced that makes a terrifying prediction about the end of the world.

The old Vatican text predicts that Catholic Church will end after the 112th pope, and the new one that will take over after Pope Francis will be the 112th.

Called the The Prophecy of the Popes, the book was published in 1595 by Benedictine monk Arnold Wion, who attributed the prophecy to a 12th-century Archbishop called Saint Malachy.

It was found in the Vatican’s Secret Archives and contains a series of 112 cryptic Latin phrases that claim to predict every pope that will ever lead the Catholic Church, starting with Celestine II in 1143 and ending with Peter the Roman in 2027.

The phrase that corresponds with the final pope scarily predicts the “persecution” of the Catholic Church and says Rome, known as the “seven hilled Jungle,” will be destroyed. Many think this means the end of the world.

“In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End,” it says.

This predicts that the next pope will be called “Peter the Roman,” and to make things even more chilling, two of the nine candidates in the running to replace Pope Francis are called Peter.

They are Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson from Ghana and Peter Erdo from Hungary, the BBC reveals.

If the book is true, the 112th pope will be the last and doomsday will come during their reign, which according to the text, will be in 2027.

That means we’ve only got two years left until the end of the world. As with all of these ancient prophecies, there’s no proof it will actually happen, but this one is scarily convincing.
